Alma Major was founded on the belief that creative power should be distributed more fairly.

Our work explores how human behavior shapes the success or failure of systemsfrom public institutions to emerging technologies. Drawing on behavioral science, cultural research, and design strategy, we help organizations understand the human dynamics behind real-world decisions and build systems that work for more people.

We choose to work with organizations committed to equity, shared ownership, democratic participation, and humility.

We do not work with institutions that produce violence, disinformation, environmental harm, or systemic injustice.
